We are hiring tax interns for all five of our offices for the upcoming tax season. The tax intern is responsible for assisting with simple tax preparation and communicating with mentors and clients as needed regarding the tax preparation process.  Interns will work an average of 15 hours a week preparing simple tax returns for our clients. Our interns gain hands on experience applying concepts they have learned in the classroom while working alongside our experienced staff and other interns.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare simple income tax returns
  • Follow up with clients regarding any questions you have for their tax return
  • Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling
  • Work alongside other interns to learn the tax preparation process
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communicator with clients and staff
  • Ability to be detail oriented and organized
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Ability to problem solve and put training into practice

Education and Experience:

  • Current Undergraduate student in Accounting or Finance or Graduate student in Business Administration
  • Student must be a sophomore or above
  • Degree program concentration in tax is preferred
  • Prior work or internship experience related to accounting or tax is preferred
