Our Staff

David joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Senior Accountant.  He is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, he also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

David graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. He volunteers for Heartland Youth for Christ after-school programs, is a Taekwondo instructor and in his free time he plays guitar and ultimate Frisbee.

Evan joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and is a Staff Accountant in our Cedar Rapids office.  He is responsible for individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation.  In addition, he also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Evan graduated from Coe College in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and Business Administration and was an intern with Hogan - Hansen for two tax seasons prior to graduating. In his free time, Evan likes to watch soccer, hike, swim, and cook. He also loves Sudoku and table puzzles. You can catch Evan watching movies or hanging out with his two dogs at home.

Evan volunteers at his local church during holiday food drives and went to Mexico on a mission trip to build houses. In the future he hopes to spend time volunteering at the animal shelter. 

Kevin joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 1986 and is a Senior Tax Manager in the Cedar Rapids office. Kevin is responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries. He is experienced in individual, partnership and corporate tax planning and preparation, audit services, business consulting, succession planning and wealth management services.

Kevin is a member of the Marion Kiwanis Club and Cedar Rapids Elks Lodge and serves on the Marion Senior Living Community Board. He is also a past board member of the School Tuition Organization for the Archdiocese of Dubuque and is the past president for the Cedar Valley Running Association and Cedar Rapids Area Estate Planning Council. Kevin has been married since 1979 to his wife, Diane, and has three grown daughters.

Jennifer joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2005 and is a Partner with the firm. In addition to managing the operations of the Cedar Rapids office, Jennifer plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities. In addition, she supervises the tax preparation and review process of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. Jennifer is also responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries.

Jennifer graduated cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. She serves on the Finance Council for St. Joseph Catholic Church and participates on the Public Relations Committee and Strategic Planning Committee for St. Joseph Catholic School. She was previously the president of the St. Joseph Catholic School Board and the Chargers Parent Organization. Jennifer is an officer for the Cedar Rapids Area Estate Planning Council and the President of the Student Tuition Organization for the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Jennifer and her husband, Nick, have three children, Chase, Natalie and Matthew. Her favorite sports teams are the teams her children play on! 

Brooke joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2007 and serves as an Audit Manager in the Cedar Rapids office. Brooke plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities, specializing in employee benefit plans. Brooke also is an experienced tax professional, preparing complex individual, partnership and corporate tax returns.

Brooke graduated summa cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their children and dog.

Frank joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023.  Frank is responsible for individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation along with other duties.  

Frank graduated from Mount Mercy College with his B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration.  He's an active board member for the Cedar Rapids Prairie Foundation and the Anamosa Archery Club.  

When Frank isn't in the office or volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his 5 grown children and 5 grandchildren, and traveling.  He enjoys archery, shooting 3D Archery during the summer and is an avid bow hunter during the fall.  He is a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Dallas Cowboys, as well.

Justin joined our office in Cedar Rapids in 2024.  He attended the University of Northern Iowa and earned his degree in Accounting and is a licensed CPA, IACPA, and AICPA.

Justin is the treasurer for Friends of the North Liberty Library, and enjoys golf and spending his time with his children.  He's also a big UNI, Iowa and Green Bay Packers fan.

Craig joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Senior Accountant for our firm.  He is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation.  

Craig graduated from Iowa State University with his B.B.A. degree in Accounting.  He is an active board member and treasurer for Izaak Walton League of America, Friends of Linn County Conservation Board, and Izaak Walton League Conservation Endowment.  He also enjoys participating in fundraising activities for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 

When Craig isn't in the office or volunteering, he enjoys being outdoors with his family, going to concerts, and traveling abroad.

Bryce joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2024 and serves as a Staff Accountant located in our Cedar Rapids office. He is responsible for individual tax return preparation.

Bryce graduated from Coe College with his B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration with a minor in Economics.

Bryce is passionate about fitness and strives to live a healthy and happy lifestyle both in the workplace and in his personal life.

Desiree joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients. Desiree graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Criminology, Law and Justice. 

Desiree and her husband have two young children that keep them busy and just recently moved back to Iowa to a farm. They enjoy riding ATVs, dirt bikes and exploring their new farm together. She likes to cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes while having a friendly competition with her husband who cheers for the Illini. 

Amy joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and is a Senior Accountant in the Cedar Rapids office. Amy’s responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Amy and her husband, Todd, have two children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and camping. She likes to cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes, but occasionally will cheer for the Cyclones as long as they are not playing the Hawkeyes.

Alyssa joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients.

Alyssa graduated from Iowa State University with her Bachelors degree in Accounting. She hopes to get her CPA in the future.

Outside of work Alyssa enjoys gardening, making bread and canning preserves. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and cat named Maverick. You can also find her cheering on her favorite team the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brittany joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Senior Accountant.  She is responsible for individual, corporate, and partnership tax return preparation.  

Brittany graduated from Mount Mercy University with her Bachelor's degree in Accounting and is an enrolled agent.  

When she's not in the, Brittany is a movie buff, enjoying all genres.  She also has fun shopping, especially for Disney merchandise.
